Happening THIS Week 01/06/2025

• First, welcome back and we hope you are excited to get started in the new year.  This is a reminder that school reopens TODAY, Monday, January 6th, and we are ready to see our Wildcats.  As always, our doors open at 8:00 AM and our tardy bell rings at 8:25.
• Second, SAC/PTO meeting TOMORROW at 5:30
• Third, Kind Krew's next meeting is this Thursday from 3-3:30.
• Fourth, if your Wildcat used Clever, Lexia, Dreambox, Reflex, or Typing.com over the winter break, please be sure to let your child’s teacher know so we can celebrate their effort.
• Fifth, mark your calendars as we are hosting “Muffins with Moms” the morning of January 23rd, from 7:45-8:25 AM.  We will share more details next week.    
• Sixth, a few reminders as we enter the second half of the year:
  • Students should not be dropped off in the car line before 8:00 AM.  We do not have staff members on duty before 8:00, and we want to be sure all our Wildcats are safe.
  • We dismiss at 2:45 PM, and our Pre-K and Kdg walkers must always be met by an adult at the walker gate.
  • We do have cooler weather heading our way this week, so be sure to write your child’s name on the inside of those new jackets and sweatshirts.
• Finally, no update yet on who will serve as Osceola’s new principal, but as soon as a decision is made, we will share that information with our school community.  Mr Hathaway is available to serve as needed, but Osceola’s amazing assistant principals, Ms. Bielefeldt and Ms. Devany, are always available to assist with any immediate questions or concerns.
